How do I design an award ring?
Very simple. Refer to the 'Design Your Ring' section of our website to familiarize yourself with the procedure and points to keep in mind about how to design: designing the program first, then the award ring follows naturally. There may be charges for this service such as art renderings, master models, etc. Discuss the details with an Onera service representative. If you wish, an Onera design consultant can travel to your location to assist in the design and technical support of your sales presentation. Inquire for details.

How much detail can I get on a ring?
The amount of detail possible is almost unlimited. It is possible to make detail so fine as to require the aid of a magnifier to recognize. Therefore the trick is to find the right balance of art detail that delivers the desired effect-not too cluttered or too simple-- a task which an Onera design consultant is trained to help with.

How long does it take?
Normal lead times from concept inception to completion (delivery of a sample ring) can range from 4 to 8 weeks. During the lead time the 'Set-Up' is completed designing your custom detailing. After you have approved Onera's art presentation, the first ring usually takes 3-4 weeks. Standard production time for most orders is 3-4 additional weeks after approval of the sample. If you have a presentation date that is shorter than our normal lead times, we can provide rush service for an additional charge. We know how important your presentation date is and our goal is to complete your order on or by the date provided.

If your award presentation is fast approaching and you cannot wait normal lead times, you can select from one of Onera's generic award rings (e.g. 'PRESIDENT'S CLUB around ringtop) with smooth side panels (no detailing) available in 10 days or less-inquire for details.

How much does it cost?
Because every ring is custom and unique, Onera issues a written quotation after a consultation with an Onera sales consultant that is good for 30 days. They will invite you to share your ideas and within 24 hours a written quotation will be issued. If the ring contains precious metals, the price will be adjusted to the current gold market on the 'work day' following receipt of your purchase order using an Adjustible Market Factor (call for details). When the quotation is approved, and upon receipt of your signed Purchase Order a deposit for the initial set-up will be requested.
